
The Zabzugu District Assembly has held a staff durbar to officially welcome the Hon. District Chief Executive (DCE) and the newly appointed District Coordinating Director. The event, which brought together management and staff of the Assembly, was held at the Assembly Hall and provided a platform for interaction, familiarization, and team building.
In his remarks, the Hon. DCE expressed his gratitude to the President and the people of Zabzugu for the confidence reposed in him to lead the district. He assured staff of his commitment to working collaboratively to ensure the effective implementation of government policies and programs for the development of the district. He further emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and innovation in public service delivery, urging all staff to bring their best ideas forward in support of the Assembly’s agenda.
The new District Coordinating Director also took the opportunity to address staff, outlining his vision to strengthen administrative structures, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of accountability within the Assembly. He highlighted the need for effective communication and collaboration across all departments to achieve the Assembly’s development objectives.
Staff members welcomed the two leaders warmly and pledged their support in the discharge of their duties. Many expressed optimism that the new leadership would bring renewed energy and direction to the work of the Assembly.
The durbar concluded with an open forum where staff had the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns. Both the Hon. DCE and the Coordinating Director assured staff that their inputs would be valued in decision-making processes.
