Zabzugu District Assembly Holds Staff Durbar to Welcome New DCE and Coordinating Director
October 2, 2025On Friday, 12th September 2025, the Zabzugu District Assembly, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, put smiles on the faces of 145 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) by disbursing a total of GHS 98,000.00
The disbursement, carried out by the Hon. District Chief Executive, reflects the Assembly’s commitment to promoting inclusiveness and empowering PWDs to improve their livelihoods.
The DCE encouraged all beneficiaries to make good use of the funds to support sustainable ventures that will uplift their living standards. Beneficiaries, in turn, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Assembly for its continuous support.
This initiative is part of government’s broader social protection programs designed to create equal opportunities and ensure that no one is left behind.
